Celebração do Património em Arganil assinala Dia Internacional dos Monumentos e Sítios 2026

No próximo dia 17 de abril, no âmbito do Dia Internacional dos Monumentos e Sítios 2026, o Município de Arganil convida-o a celebrar o património com um programa especial dedicado ao tema “Património Vivo: Resposta de emergência em contextos de conflitos e desastres”. Esta iniciativa integra as comemorações coordenadas, a nível nacional, pelo Património Cultural e pelo ICOMOS Portugal, destacando o papel dos museus enquanto guardiões ativos da memória coletiva, mesmo em contextos de adversidade.

Com início às 14h00, no Auditório do Núcleo Museológico de Arqueologia de Arganil, o programa inclui a apresentação da oferta cultural e patrimonial do concelho de Arganil, seguida de três oficinas. A primeira oficina tem lugar às 15h00 e tem como objetivo ensinar a elaborar as icónicas e características “Cruzes de Piódão”. Às 15h30, decorre uma segunda oficina, centrada numa experiência sensorial e criativa através da técnica de decalque (frottage) e por fim, às 16h00, realiza-se a terceira oficina, desta vez de “Cerâmica Pré-Histórica”.

On April 17th, as part of the International Day for Monuments and Sites 2026, the Municipality of Arganil invites you to celebrate heritage with a special program dedicated to the theme “Living Heritage: Emergency Response in Conflict and Disaster Contexts”. This initiative is part of the nationally coordinated celebrations by Cultural Heritage and ICOMOS Portugal, highlighting the role of museums as active guardians of collective memory, even in adverse contexts.

Starting at 2 pm in the Auditorium of the Arganil Archaeological Museum, the program includes a presentation of the cultural and heritage offerings of the Municipality of Arganil, followed by three workshops. The first workshop takes place at 3 pm and aims to teach how to create the iconic and characteristic “Piódão Crosses”. At 3:30 PM, a second workshop will take place, focusing on a sensory and creative experience through the frottage technique, and finally, at 4 pm, the third workshop will be held, this time on “Prehistoric Ceramics”.
