BRITISH CONSULATE IN THE COMMUNITY

Wednesday, 4 July (1000-1300) – Câmara Municipal, Arganil (Centro de Actividades Juvenis) & Thursday 5 July (1000-1300) – Câmara Municipal, Penela (Balcão Único Meeting Room)

In early July, Vice Consul, Gillian Herculano, and a colleague from the British Consulate in Lisbon, will be in Arganil and Penela to take questions from British nationals about the requirements for living in Portugal. If you’re unsure about the procedures for registering with the authorities, exchanging your driving licence, registering for health care, importing your car, etc., come along and see us. We can also give you information about renewing your British passport. With the UK leaving the EU in 2019, if you intend to live permanently in Portugal, it’s important to be properly registered and to keep your passport up-to-date.

Send us a PM or an email to notarial.portugal@fco.gov.uk if you’d like to come along and talk to us. Tell us which location is most convenient for you and what you’d like to discuss so we can come prepared. We’ll contact you with an appointment time so you don’t have to wait too long to see us. The British Consulate in Lisbon would like to thank the municipal authorities of Arganil and Penela for their kind collaboration with these events.
